Our Vancouver formulator has developed our products using eco harvested, Canadian tree essences, Botanical tree essence is the sap, pitch, or juice that naturally extrudes from various openings, folds, and knots of trees. From early Spring to late Summer, the trees go through a “weeping” process, in which the tree roots push the sap, stored during Winter, up into the Cambian layer between the bark and the true wood of the tree.
This “weeping” process occurs as a defence mechanism to ward off bug infestation. The tree essences used in EarthSafe™ products are a combination of Jack Pine, Red Pine, Eastern Pine and Western Red Cedar. Using old-fashioned methods, the saps and resins are pulled or lightly scraped off, allowing the trees to remain unharmed. The tree essences combination we use has five special benefits.
